First off it was HOT for both shows. It was great to see you guys again it has been a while since you have been in this area. It was hot on the rail for both shows but it looked even hotter on stage. You guys rocked Cincy and gave the NASCAR fans one hell of a show. It is great to see the exposure you got at the Brickyard, Keep rockin the fans like you did at both shows.

HOT was the word of both days, I'll agree with you there Riff! But both shows were oh so good, for many reasons. Bogart's July 28, 2011 Cincinnati, OH Cincy loves Hinder, that much is easy to see when you attend shows in the city. Last Wednesday night was no exception. One Less Reason started the set off early & they got the night going in the right direction. Second was Nine Left Dead or 9LD if you prefer, either way, if you haven't already seen them with Hinder or heard them online, on radio or anywhere yet, you really should take a listen. (They're the band that won a contest in OK to record at Cody's in home studio & they're now managed by Cody & Focker.) They are going to go far, their music is hard hitting rock and they are really good live. A lot of energy, a lot of audience participation and fun. Would love to see them again live, even on their own! My Darkest Days was in direct support Wednesday & they always bring their own energy to the show. Their set was about the same as last time they were in Cincy, but they still rocked the house. Finally, the audience was worked to a fever pitch, partially because of the heat, but mostly due to Hinder's presence in the house! This was one of the best shows in recent memory. Even though everyone was hot as hell and dripping wet, they played their hearts out. Their sound live has come a long way, and on this night, it was superb. From the intro of "2 Sides of Me" to the last strains of "Get Stoned," the energy was high, the crowd was rowdy and the guys were on. Even Mike looked like his old self towards the end of the night & that's saying something with what he's still going through in the healing process! All in all, this was a killer show, and they just keep getting better and better as they progress. Brickfest July 30, 2011 Indianapolis, IN From a full on HINDER show to an inaugural event for NASCAR that Hinder has been asked to play. We wondered what the reception would be, but love the exposure for the guys too. If you're in attendance at a Hinder show & haven't been before, don't worry, these guys will make sure you leave wanting more! It was, yet again, hot in the shade on Saturday, thankfully for everyone, especially the guys, there was a breeze that blew most of the afternoon. While I love to experience new bands, sometimes it's nice to be treated to just Hinder..and that's what we got on Saturday. A full set with the addition of "Born to be Wild," for the obvious reason! Even with a few mouthy jerks at the start of the show, the crowd GREW and the guys got a great reception. The show was filmed, we're assuming for either the track or Nascar or both, either way toned down his F word usage for the day! LOL But other than that, it was another rip roaring show. Great energy & really good crowd participation. The sound at a show like that is normally really good and Saturday was no exception. A couple of observations: Joe works so hard, he never stops. I know none of them do, but HTH and I agreed on Saturday that he really works hard before, during and after each song to keep the crowd involved...at least he did this past week. They've come a long way in the past few years and the live show reflects that. From the sound to their energy to the crowd's response, they really do keep improving, it's really very cool to have experienced. I don't think I'd ever seen Cody's kit from the back before like I did on Saturday and that was very cool. Finally, just seeing everyone again is enough to leave a smile on your face for days afterward. For me, there were so many 1sts on Wednesday and so many memories made I'm a little overwhelmed. The coolest thing was seeing my kids meet the guys for the very 1st time. I'll never forget those smiles, comments and laughs..and I don't know that their feet have touched ground since. Kreg, Bryan & Nathan, it was great getting to talk to you guys after the show. We can't wait to see 9LD again AND pick up that album when it's released. Thank you guys for everything Wednesday! Battle, we hope Saturday didn't leave you too frazzled! At least it was over early & you made it through!! haha Thanks for everything!!! Focker & X, it's always good to see you guys, don't know what we'd do without you! Hope we never have to find out! Focker, what was that tattoo deal Wednesday between you & Bill..."if you show me yours, I'll show you mine?" hahaha That was hilarious from our vantage point! Cody, Joe, Mike, Mark, & : I don't think I'll ever be able to articulate what you guys mean to our family, ever. Thank you isn't enough, but what can I say? You never disappoint us as fans, ever. My ink will be complete the next time we meet so Cody & can fight over photos again! LOL Thanks for 2 kickass shows this week, here's to the good run continuing!! And Cody, I'm working on that project, I promise!

With the show the following night in Pittsburgh cancelled, the guys came up to Michigan a day early. Felicity had checked into her hotel in Pittsburgh when I informed her the show had been cancelled. So as any good Hinder follower would do, she jumped in the car and drove over to where we knew they were staying. I met her after work on Thursday and we got to hang with Focker, Mark, Blower and the 9LD guys that night. Before leaving the bar/grill area, made an appearance. came in shortly after and s that we were there and introduced us to . She was very sweet and actually remembered meeting me before in Muskegon. We didn't want to keep them so he gave us hugs and we headed outside. I had to work the next day so we went out to the bus so Felicity could say goodbye to Mike and Cody. Mission accomplished and we had a chance to see Dougie and Matt riding around on some little motorized seat in the parking lot. I know there's video somewhere of that! Anyway the guys all knew they'd see me at the show the next night but I got more hugs anyway. I work right down the street from the venue so I thought I'd invite them to lunch. They seemed intrigued but I knew they'd never come but I at least extended the offer. Felicity went up to her room for a few hours sleep cuz she had to drive to Newark the next day to catch her flight back to the UK and I went home. Had some baking to do for the next night. Made stuff for all 3 bands so I didn't get much sleep. It was all worth it to get the thank you's and hugs from some of them after the show.
