From loads of experience, absolutely, no question, a cd. You lose something in the digital dl from anywhere, the cd is taken directly from a master recording and it's much cleaner and more crisp. Course having grown up with vinyl, I prefer that sound. Seriously though, I have the dl of the 2 extra tracks from "Limit" and have never been happy with the quality of them compared to the sound of recordings on a disc.

Yeah, CD's are always better...MP3's are lower in sound quality due to the compression...like when working on recordings the mor audio techs tell ya to always save your recordings in atleast 16 bit 44 WAVs or use a high qual-MP3 at 320 kbps but even thats not recommended... Usually I get most of my mor artist albums on mp3 these days...I opted to get Hinder's disc though! Sadly aside of "digital only" releases my future albums won't have CD releases... I will only print a few for promotion and such...

CD! of what I read about MP3 196kbit mp3 is Fm quality & thats what I convert my CD's too! most use 123kbit but you can get more songs using this setting I do all my cd's conversions w my off line computer which is a lot more work! really don't like Itunes though so what does everybody have as MP3 players? are smarter phone going to take over? I have the Creative Zen 8g & I love it & it has a Sd port for even more music & Videos I also have a 2g Sansa e200 which has a Micro chip port & it also can play Video

I prefer CD's over MP3, but have recently bought more music online because of convenience of not having to convert the CD's to the computer. I have an Ipod nano-5th gen 16g and I also still have my old Ipod mini 4g. I have an Iphone 3gs, but the only music on it is Hinder...because I always take the phone w/ me.

I recently bought a CD version of Extreme Behavior, and compared it with my itunes version. The verdict, CD definately sounds so much better. But I must say, I buy alot from itunes since it is more convenient and so much more cheaper.
