Hey guys,
Just curious what you think would be the best cross over single for this record?
Personally, my vote goes to Put That Record On, because it's fun, catchy as hell and I don't think there is a person on this planet who can't relate to that song. That being said, I do think The Life will be a staple at High School and College graduations next May. I think the safe choice is "The Life" because I just know that song will possibly be bigger than Lips was .. but Put That Record On, for me, is just the diamond on this record.

I understand why folks here like The Life thay listen more heavyer things... its kinda a pecefull beautiful ballad but im used to hear those kind of songs so this isnt very speicel for me.... alltough its good ... but What Ya Gonna Do is somthing speciel... its really theire best song after lips of an angel... im sure that if its gonna be the crossover singel i can tell the single itself will sell alot

I'm going w/ Put that record on, it's different than anything Hinder has done before, it shows a different side to the band, other than a ballad or a hard rock song. (if that makes sense..I've got a cold and I just woke up)

I'll go with Put that Record On. We don't have a true rock station here, so I can really here this song, being played on our alternative and pop/soft rock station.

I can absolutely hear "Put That Record On" as a cross over and a hit too. It's one of the most fun songs to sing w/them live too.
As for "The Life" I've already said that if it doesn't eclipse that other #1 single they had I will truly be baffled as to why not. It's just got everything a song needs to shoot to the top...and I hope it does.

Yea my pick would be either The Life or What Ya Gonna Do, tho I disagree that The Life would be a good graduation song. Graduation is supposed to be inspiring, and The Life is kind of how ur dreams can turn into shit. But for cross over and big hits and stuff, I'm voting on What Ya and The Life

Todays Music stations"What Ya Gonna"! I think that it should be done matter what! either first or second but has too be done! I think "Put that Record On" could also be sold to old time rock N rock stations only a few new artistes ever get played & it could be a big market for this songs & who knows it could lead to some of their older songs getting played too (the older station are slowly changing & the doors is slowly opening! & Hinder is the right band to take advantage of it) Hard rock stations? after "All American Nightmare" I would go w "2 sides of Me" My Shocker, Could (would) be a HUGE hit! (Hinder would go into another element, cross over) RE - Releases "Bad Muthar F**ka" w a Video & make a Video w Kid Rock & my 2nd vision would be Kid Rock & other people in the music industry (Country, Rock & even Hip hop, E&M maybe) & make it a very r Video & let it go everywhere!!!!!!!! Country, Rock & every other Radio stations!

I think the next single will either be "The Life" or "Put That Record On" because in a lot of interviews I've seen the guys have noticed that them two songs are getting a lot of buzz. Also, IMO this should come as a shocker to noone but I think the next Hard Rock song they should release is of course "Waking Up The Devil"!
