I think the pics I have seen here are great. I would love to take my camera to the show I am going to and take some crappy pics to show. LOL I get to dancing and moving so all my pics tend to be blurry ;D Sometimes I get something really cool though. I have run into a problem at most venues though.. NO Cameras. Does anyone know what the policy is with this tour with Motley Crue?

Depends on the bands policy and the venue sometimes too...will be interesting to see w/Crüe. Then again, I know Jess had her camera for her shows last summer so it may be alright.

I was at the same shows with Jess last year and we didn't have any trouble. As usual though, it will be up to the venue.
I have a M&G for my first show so I better not have an issue getting mine in.

even if they tell you in advance no cameras, take one anyway. they will usually still let it through from what i've seen. if you are close to the front, people have been told to put them ay or they will take them, but i don't think i personally know anyone who has had theirs taken ay. even if you take a dinky little throw ay camera, take something.

I know of someone who did have a good camera taken at a show. Don't know if she got it back, but I do know they took it b/c of how loudly she was lamenting them taking it before the show.

From a Security stand point. When I worked for the casino, they had several policies about cameras. The worst one being implemented right after 9-11. We had to tell anybody with a camera that they couldn't take any pictures of the property. Which is stupid considering it's a casino and tourist attraction at that. After a few months went by. They lifted the ban on the property and said that nobody could take pictures of the boat, on the boat, or of the ceiling. That was because of surveillance issues and people who didn't want others to know they were gambling whom might have there picture taken. So the only cameras allowed on the boat belonged to the casino. If someone did take a pic, either with a camera or phone, we told them not to do it again otherwise we make them open it up and take the film. Or with the newer digital cameras or cell phones, we made them delete it. We didn't have the right to take the camera or phone cause that's theft.
As for the concerts and the entertainers. That was pretty much up the entertainer if they wanted their fans to take pictures or not. If they didn't want them, then we'd have to tell them to put it ay or take the film. We didn't want to do it, but sometimes we had to cause of either security issues, surveillance, or the personal rights of others.
As for me I believe that Security should give you a warning and tell you their policy first, then if you don't comply take the film. I don't think that taking a camera that you bought or was given to you should be taken ay. Yes, you bought the film but, if it impedes on security issues or the rights of others then yeah. Besides which would you prefer to give up if you had too, the expensive camera or the film.

Cameras are not allowed! But if you can get it in! The rules change! No Flash No Video's No sound recordings I hide my camera & I get it in! I always turn the Flash Off! I always use manual Mode! I don't use the Screen Viewing! when trying to due a Video I use electrical Tape & tape up were the Mic is to help cut down distortion & picking a not so Loud song helps even more! Generally security will not take your camera if you are taking pictures with no flash HAha Security no's that most of your pic's will not turn out & The cell phone Camera they know is even worst so don't waste a lot of time with your cell phone! & cuz of cell phones the camera is more tolerated ! But Video are not! so watch your self! Security is Really looking for people recording Video's (they have to do something) & if they catch you they might take your memory Card! I almost got caught! ;D ;D ;D (Note-Big camera's with detachable lens are a different story & you will get caught!!!!!!!!!! & they will kick you out) I love talking about cameras Want to know more? 3dd Rush Alicia Keys Niki Bar Band Ok Ac Dc

Very cool pics and good advice. I doubt I'll be close enough to worry about taking pics but I'll at least have it for the M&G.

it usually depends on the venues, but they almost always say no camera's, but will usually allow pictures to be taken, it's usually video they watch out for....but even that varies by venue, i've gotten by with recording video (even standing right next to a security guard @ one venue)...and then other places i've been asked to stop recording
