^^Hey, if they get there first and they hang tough through the whole show on the rail, they deserve to be there just as much as anyone. Just my opinion.
Don't think we'll be hitting any shows on this leg, especially at a venue that small and so far ay.

The Crofoot in Pontiac is a decent place. I've seen a number of bands there but don't remember if it's an all ages venue or not cuz I'm way beyond those days. Just hate they young kids at shows cuz they think they deserve to be up front and then you get the screamo girls reaching out to touch them whenever they head toward them. Can definitely live without that after going thru it Monday night at the Lifehouse show in Detroit!
This is the only show that I'm doing a M&G for. It's not like they don't know me - it's only so that I get to hang longer with my out of town peeps! yeah.... but you know wat, i'm a kid... i've been listening to hinder since day 1... before they had a cd... i've been up there up front beatin ppl up to keep my spot... and hey, reaches out to grab my hand. you can't hate on those kids, cuz those kids are the ones that grow up to be good fans... i think that people should remember where they came from, cuz you know wat, those boys LOVE every single one of those fans that are out there...

You know, i'm a kid too, and when i go to a Hinder show i get there early and i earn my place at the rail, and i dont think it's fair for you to hate on kids at shows (obviously not you pinkie) because you're older and you feel like you deserve the front spots more. Thats such a hypocritical thing to say. We deserve our place up front just as much as you do, and has reached out to touch my hand twice now. And yes i do scream at concerts, and i did get into a physical fight with someone that was trying to make me leave my spot. So i agree with pinkie and morgan on this one. Because we are all fans whether you apprieciate it or not.

I think part of what shari said wasn't said right. The part about young girls deserving the rail. I've heard on more than one occasion that I'm too old to go to concerts. At the national show, the barely legal girls behind us were saying things like "they are too old to be up front" "how the hell did they get up front before us?" "We'll push up front with toad comes on. They're too old to stop us." Yeah, lovely. No they didn't get in front of us either. Yeah, they put in the time standing in line for the m&g so got in first. They thought they should be up front because we were old. I think that's part of what shari meant. The yelling and screaming part, yeah don't get that complaint. Its a concert, what are you sposed to do?

Just to clarify my position and maybe "hate" wasn't the best word to use. How about "dislike"?? Just because I "dislike" when something happens, doesn't mean I hate the individual doing the action. Just because someone has the right to scream in my ear and push me to touch the artist, doesn't mean I have to "like" it. I accept that it happens, pretty much expect it to happen and move on. I certainly don't hate fans of the band that I'm supporting.
As far as positioning on the rail, I've been in both situations. I've stood in line for hours only to see others walking in before us and be at the rail with no room left for us. I'm not happy about it, but I accept it. I don't have to like it, but I respect that they paid $ to a fan club or were invited by a radio station or knew someone that allowed them to get there. I stand where I think I want to be for the show. If someone in front of me moves and is not coming back, yes, I'll move forward. I'm not the type that will go busting thru others to get to the rail. But I don't think that I'm "entitled" to be at the rail just because I'm a fan and I stood in line. My experience has been that it is the "younger" people that attempt it, but certainly "older" people have tried as well. I try to stand my ground as best as I can without getting physical with anyone. I then continue to enjoy the show the best I can.
It takes a lot for me to "hate" someone but generally it isn't worth my time or energy to do so!
