Fyi!!! The sound wasn't bad, it was the sound system that sucked! People get big pa systems and think they are good cuz they look monsterous. But just cuz its big doesn't mean it sounds good! The guys played great and they did make all those fans know they loved them!! Just curious, what makes you think that the sound system sucked? The band can play great, it can be an esome sound system and still sound like shit if a sound guy isn't doing his job very well mixing the band.

Do they have the same sound Guy? I really Really Really don't want to say this! & I know they still sound GOOD! Please don't read this if you don't want to hear it & I don't want to influence anybody in anyway & to have people think about it & to take this the wrong way its like a 7 instead of a 10 but My camera mics don't lie & Hinder sounded better last Year! I know that I'm judging w my camera Mics & all Camera are subjects to distortion! I recorded over 20 different bands in the last 4 months & Counting Crows sounded the Best & all the other bands sound good too so how they mix it, does matter! & all my Videos have some degree of distorition! Even Nickback Hinder was on the top of the list last year & now moved to the Bottom of the list this year! but when Hinder starts playing & when all the instruments kick in, at their loudest parts of the song , is when it happends & it could sound better maybe its a feedback speaker being too loud (bass) & feeding back into the output speakers but its differently when the Bass &/or Drums are playing at their maximum volume & something in the sound system can't handle it! or it might be a bad feedback mic that fails at full volume! anyway its definitely not the band! darn it, anyway

Trust me, whoever was working the sound system for the venue was a rookie! The guys sounded great but there was alot of mess ups on the venues part

I'll explain how these gigs go down. At the beginning of a fair or festival, a sound company puts up the P.A. or sound system and tunes or sets it for the venue that its being used in. Almost every popular act that shows up to play has their own sound guy that mixes them. The local people can only do so much to influence the end result. Since probably has a sound engineer that travels with them, the local folks can't really tell him what to do, after all, he works for the band. Too often, people blame a bad sounding show on the sound system.
