The lines from "Save Me" that I figured out keep running through my head. I honestly, sincerely hope the label doesn't hold the phone on this one, really!

From Chief's website: HINDER RETURN WITH “WELCOME TO THE FREAKSHOW” DECEMBER 4 Posted on October 1, 2012 Official Hinder Press Release Oct 1 / 2012 New Single “Save Me” Impacting Radio. Available At iTunes Tuesday, October 2 Los Angeles, CA (October 1, 2012) — Multiplatinum, chart-topping Oklahoma City hard rockers HINDER will unleash their fourth full-length album for Republic Records, WELCOME TO THE FREAKSHOW, in stores and online December 4, 2012. The record is preceded by the anthemic first single, “Save Me,” impacting airwaves now, available at iTunes on Tuesday, October 2. The album was co-produced by drummer Cody Hanson and Marshall Dutton in a hometown studio. Instead of simply sticking to a tried-and-true formula, the group decided to smash boundaries, experimenting with rock, pop, and even a little country. The resulting eleven tracks are intoxicating in the best way possible. “Save Me” kicks off the set with a stomping riff and stadium-size chorus from singer X. Sharpening the band’s edge, it’s got grit, gusto, and guts. Immediately, radio stations across the country embraced the song, placing it in regular rotation. ARTISTdirect.com even called it the band’s “catchiest yet.” Hinder have opened up the doors to their next chapter, and everyone’s Welcome To The Freakshow. Confirmed Tracklist: 1. Save Me 2. Ladies Come First 3. Shoulda Known Better 4. Freakshow 5. Talk To Me 6. Get Me ay From You 7. Is It Just Me 8. I Don’t Wanna Believe 9. See You In Hell 10. Anyone But You 11. Wanna Be Rich At the show in July, I talked to Cody about the different styles, they did it for more than 1 reason and it's killer!

Save me is "harder" then some of the older stuff, guess they are going way back to the beginning for this one...not sure what I think of the pop thing either

I'm just not so big on pop...especially the stuff that comes out today....so I hope they aint going that direction.

"Pop sound" could possibly = crossover hit which would then = more exposure...and that's part of what we talked about so, fingers crossed!

I'll wait till I hear it before making any judgement...so far every album has gotten better, though I did think AAN was a better first single than Save me. It's not that I don't like Save me, I love it...I just dont think it sounds quite as good as AAN,now as far as lyrics, to me, Save me is much better.
