but they should add the $175 onto the price cuz it makes you think what else is not included? I don't like surprises when it comes to money LOL This is a cruise industry norm. When you book a typical cruise, they add-on additional taxes and port fees to your final bill. We also include pre-paid gratuities (http://www.getshiprocked.com/2011/faq/onboard-faq/#12) in the add-on, so that when you get your room bills onboard, they only reflect whatever you've spend in the way of drinks, spa packages, excursions, etc., and you're not surprised by additional charges. I have never been on a ship before any advice? do's & don't ?? Can you bring your own LQ into your room? or onto the ship & how much is a Beer during a concert? & most shows will start at? evening? & every Night? & are all the concert GA ? how close can you get to the stage? & is their a VIP GA area or is it first come first serve basics ? & how many people are at each concert? & on the ship? & layout of the stage & Arena, any seats, or all Ga standing? Oh the most important thing! When will it sell out? & what sells out first? generally? Thanks Many questions you may have can be answered by reading through our F.A.Q. here: www.getshiprocked.com/2011/faq/But some of the other questions I can try to answer here... Can you bring liquor onboard: No. MSC does not allow passengers to carry on their own liquor. Most cruise lines dont, as they want you to buy it from them If you buy bottles of liquor onboard in the duty free shop or in a port of call, they will give it to you at the end of the cruise. How much is the beer: Ranged between $2.70 (draft) $4.50 (import) onboard last year's cruise Showtimes / Info: Shows take place both during the day and at night, each day/night onboard. We'll announce the full schedule a few weeks out from the cruise. All shows are general admission. VIP: We do offer VIP packages, which grant priority entry/seating for shows. Seating is still GA for VIPs. How many people are at the shows/onboard the ship: There are several venues/stages, ranging in capacity from only couple hundred to 1250 - the ship's capacity at double occupancy is roughly 2500 Ship Layout: You can check out lots of info about the ship, including deck plans, etc, here: www.getshiprocked.com/2011/cruise/msc-poesia/When will it sell out, what goes first: Hard to say, but cabins have been selling at a good pace today. Generally the cheapest cabins and the suites go first, VIP goes very shortly thereafter. Hope this helps, and hope to see you onboard!

Soo my question is... when do we need to buy our tickets?? Like can we wait till this summer like June/July (when I will actually have cash & have recovered from all of my Rocklahoma spending LOL) to buy our tickets?? The least expensive cabins in each category and the suites sell out first, as does VIP. Sales have gone at a pretty brisk pace today, and we expect that to continue in the coming weeks. So the sooner you can put a deposit down the better is really the best answer I can give you.

I had a blast on the VH-1 cruise! Even though 3 Doors Down was the headliner, we were really there to see Black Stone Cherry, Shinedown and Lifehouse. Each group performed 3 times in different areas of the ship. The band members and their spouses/girlfriends were able to roam around the ship as they wanted to without being hassled too much. Some of them did have security with them just as a precaution. They were always polite when we encounted them for a hello or a quick picture for Felicity. They also had an area on the ship that was reserved specifically for them and had a security guard checking passes to gain entry to that area.
As far as "quality" time with them, I didn't see it happening that much but we were really there to see BSC. We were able to hang out with them and took ay some pretty good memories!
I wouldn't consider the Hinder boys and I as friends and I wouldn't go into this cruise expecting to hang out with them at all. I would think that the occasional passing by them as they wander would be the best one could hope for and if they acknowledged me and said hi, I'd be happy!

I have booked my trip and I am so excited! Setting sail on the same ship with my favorite band is unbelievable. High fives to whoever organized this!
I have some questions.... 1) I have booked this trip exclusively to see Hinder perform. If for some reason, they cancelled, would refunds be given? 2) The website says that insurance info is coming soon. When I booked the trip, there was still no information available. When will that become available and will it be available to people that have already booked? 3) Is there a dress code for the dinners on the ship? 4) I know in the past...there have been 80's theme proms and such...will we be advised in advance what they will be?
