Yeah $220 is too much. I got a great job, but I got bills to pay. Add in missing work and its not worth it at all. If they did columbia sc, I could do that even though its a 6 hour drive because my parents live there. Can visit them too and make it worth the drive.

Angie I'm worried! If your going to see two concerts in a row (or just one) & warm up bands you might not like, Please consider going to Guitar Center, & buy & bring earplugs w you & for less than $20.00 you have nothing to lose! & Options have changed a lot in the last 5 years about Earplugs! & during some concerts , More & more people come up to me & say that's a smart thing to do! & more bands members come up to me & say it too (they know something we don't) we all know years ago it was not cool but its getting cooler! LOL www.guitarcenter.com/Product/CompareItems.aspx?prevurl=http%3A//www.guitarcenter.com/Hearing-Protection-Stage---Roadie-Supplies.gc%3Fpv1%3D1%26pv%3D3more facts about hearing! OMG I have some of them Warning signs www.vater.com/education/healthbeat/Hearing/index.cfmI use Hearos High Fidelity Series Ear Plugs! they are reusable & They take some time to get use too & I also pull them in & out a little bit to adjust the volume during the concert! also if you do having ringing in you ear after a concert! maybe this will work for you, concider using some cheat soft earplug & wear them before you go to bed it works for me & maybe it will work for you

Yeah, I will travel for concerts, but to go as far as flying out of my state or something if I didn't have any other reason for leaving is totally out of my concert price range.

if I see a show, I *have* to travel because my hometown does not get concerts (that are worth going to atleast), although there is a really great place for concerts @ the trade center in town, for whatever reason they never book any good concerts @ it...but I can't go if it's like 5 or more hours, and that's the closest Hinder seem to be coming around this time around and I'm bummed

there's still room in there for more dates chrissy.
i wear ear plugs at work every night, have for almost 10 years now, and hate them. i've had a constant ringing in my ears since i was a teenager, so the few shows i get to hit won't affect it that much. i'm not wearing ear plugs at a show

i will wear earplugs if it's an indoor show, @outdoor venues, it usually doesn't make my ears ring.

there was one time i wished i'd had ear plugs and that was theory of a deadman. they had the music way way too loud and you couldn't even hear him talk between songs, much less sing while the music was playing.

i'm not wearing ear plugs at a show Agreed...Riff has been using them to try and help keep the ringing at bay after a show. For me, I guess I should but I really don't like to. (damn you'd think I'd been drinking when I typed that the first time!)

I'll probably regret it one day...but even before I started seeing the guys live, I'd been to enough live shows that I shoulda been wearing them for years if I was going to ~ meaning I'd probably done enough damage prior to HINDER shows.

lol i liked the drunk version!
that's my reasoning too pretty much. the damage is done. yeah, it can get worse, but i don't go to enough shows to really worry about it
