Had my M&G with them the other night in Chicago. Didn't want to get them sick so I didn't do hugs or handshakes and just had them sign my poster. Didn't do a pic with them, just took one of them for my album but Zach was making a face so it was cool. Got to hear them sing Simple Man and was able to record it. Very happy but still sick as a dog!!

And hopefully some videos!! One of my IT guys at work is going to let me borrow his video camera. My new flip only has an hour of memory and I don't want to take my laptop with me if I can help it. His uses a regular memory card so I'm starting to stock up on those for the trip. If the guys are out and about on the ship, I'm sure I'll talk to them. If not and they are off doing their own thing, we'll be able to see them perform 3 times on the ship. I sent Zach a message that I thought one of those sets should be acoustic cuz that would be a real treat.

I was really impressed with Shinedown myself. I liked If You Only Knew, Second Chance (which I knew they would do last) and 45. I agree, the guitarist is cute. See how he took his shirt off? Wish Ryan did that.
Their bass player's moves reminded me of Flea of the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Yes, the singer had a great voice and I was impressed with his stage presence and interaction with the audience. He said it was their first trip to Toronto after he asked everyone to put up their hand if it was their first time seeing them. They'll be back and I'd see them again.
I think Shinedown should have gone before Nickelback instead of Breaking Benn.

Both shows that I've seen on this leg of the tour, Shinedown was the better act, hands down!
