Jimmy Fallon has a late night show? I thought it was Jimmy Kimmel - I'll try finding it on You Tube - thanks! Gives You Hell has hit #1 on Rick Dees Weekly Top 40 - Rick mentioned on the show they are starting their tour in Tempe, Arizona on Saturday and it is their first #1 in seven years. Way to go AAR: www.rick.com/index.cfm?p=3

Gives You Hell was #1 again this week on Rick Dees Weekly Top 40. Rick said All American Rejects were the first band to hit #1 since Hansen back in 1997 but that is incorrect. The last band to hit #1 from Oklahoma was HINDER back in the fall of 2006 with Lips of An Angel which spent one week at #1. I wrote to Rick and mentioned that.

I s All American Rejects on Much On Demand this morning (a repeat of yesterday's show at 5:00). I see Gives You Hell then afterwards, I see them in the studio being interviewed by Much VJ Sarah Taylor. I had no idea they were on the show much less in Toronto. They didn't perform on the show, were just interviewed. All four of them were on from left to right it was Tyson, Nick, Mike and Chris.

All American Rejects performed at the 2010 Concert Series at Whistler, BC as part of Much On Demand's Concert Series during the Olympics.
I really enjoyed their performance. I didn't even know they were appearing until just at the last minute so I watched and am so glad I did. They started off with Move Along where Nick's guitar was the American flag which I really liked. He switched to a beige guitar after that. Songs they performed included Swing,Swing, It Ends Tonight, I Wanna, Dirty Little Secret and closed off wish Gives You Hell (had the feeling Tyson was dedicating that to a girlfriend).
All the guys looked pretty good, but I think Tyson had too much Canadian beer. Everyone else seemed fine but Tyson was rambling in between songs, had the glazed over look in his eyes and was rolling around on stage. I kept thinking he was going to fall down but luckily he didn't. He had a spiffy suit on then by the end of the night, his shirt was hanging out.
Nick of course was HOT HOT HOT! Chris' hair is is longer and Mike had the left part of his head shaved. Didn't quite go with the rest of his hair. There was also a touring keyboardist and bassist who would fill in for Tyson.
It was great seeing them again.

Tyson is looking a bit rough these days. LOL. I heard they were performing but I guess they decided not to air it during NBC's Olympic coverage cuz I didn't see it...and I watched the Olympics every night, sometimes twice! LOL.
