www.canada.com/vancouversun/story.html?id=4ebf7f94-5be6-43f6-83ae-799005386a18&k=16416 -- is alive and well, with a great sense of humor about this whole rumor thing that's been going on. ' EDMONTON- As a newly minted rock star, X is privy to a lot of questionable backstage antics - drinking contests, pellet gun duels, sex with groupies. Yet he'll never forget - or top - what happened in the front row of his last gig in Edmonton. Picture it: Thousands of revellers, dressed up in costumes, are partying at an annual Halloween howler. X's band, Hinder, is the headliner. The frontman looks around at the crowd, then spies a couple at the front of the stage. "There's two people having sex,'' laughs X. "I'm not joking. They were going to town. The girl was bent over the barricade. I was like, `Does security not see this?' You guys are out of your minds and I love it. I LOVE it.'' The Oklahoma rockers are '80s-style party animals, fuelled by Girls Gone Wild babes, booze and testosterone. X rasps about vodka, make-up sex and likes to hook bras to his microphone stand. Guitarist Joe Garvey got his nickname - Blower - after ? well, you can guess the rest. Needless to say, Extreme Behaviour isn't just the title of their first album, it's their way of life - morals and consequences, be damned. In fact, X was smashed when he first talked about forming Hinder with drummer Cody Hanson. These days, the fivesome only asks for liquid on their backstage rider - such as whiskey, rum, vodka, and three cases of beer. Oh, and Pedialyte. It's actually made for children - used to "prevent dehydration due to diarrhea or vomiting," according to the product's website. "Pedialyte is our lifesaver in the morning,'' X says. "You wake up, you got a hangover - drink a whole thing of that.'' With such a party-hearty attitude, it's no wonder the Internet is rife with rumours of his untimely demise. "Is X dead ?. People have been sayin' that he was ? people say that he shot hemself ... Or that he OD on artharitus medicine,'' one fan, too distraught to spell, posted on a Yahoo message board. X says he didn't know he was supposed to be dead. He laughs at the rumours - then tries to come up with one himself. "I'd probably like to die having sex,'' he muses. "Are you single?'' ' From the article link thing I posted. Gotta love for that, y'know. WONDERFUL sense of humor. ;-;
